About MotoPark LDN

What this is

MotoPark LDN is a free map of motorcycle parking across London. It shows marked bays, on-street parking, car parks and secure locations. Open the map, find a likely bay near your destination, get directions and check Street View before you ride. No signup, no account, no paywall.

Who runs it

MotoPark LDN was built and is maintained by Paolo Parodi, a London-based rider and developer. It started as a personal tool to stop guessing where to park and grew into a public map. The project is independent — not affiliated with TfL, any London borough council, or a commercial parking operator.

Where the data comes from

The map combines two sources:

How to use it

Search a destination, tap a borough chip, or go to Find Spots to filter by free, paid, secure, or covered. Each pin links to Google Maps or Apple Maps for turn-by-turn navigation and Street View. You can save spots to your favourites list for quick access later.

How to report a problem

Tap the flag icon on any spot to report it — wrong location, permit-only, doesn't exist, or other issues. The report goes directly to the maintainer. Spots can only be removed or corrected by the maintainer, so reports are reviewed manually.

How to add a spot

Use the Add a bay page or open the map and go to Add Spot. Give a street address, number of bays, and anything useful — surface, cover, CCTV, access restrictions. The backend geocodes the address to exact coordinates. Only submit locations you have verified yourself.

Important — always check the sign

MotoPark LDN is parking intelligence, not authority. Bays, restrictions, hours, suspended spaces and temporary measures can change at any time. A spot marked "free" on the map may have become paid or permit-only since it was last checked. Always read the plate and any nearby signage before leaving your bike. Pavement parking is not automatically legal — the map does not advise or endorse parking on the footway.
